Real humans, written replies, no chatbots. Most questions are answered within 24 hours during weekdays. For urgent in-trip issues during Hajj or Umrah, write "URGENT" in the subject line and we'll prioritise.
Send us a note with as much detail as you can — your device model, the screen you're seeing the issue on, what you were trying to do. We'll write back with a fix or a clarifying question.
If you're the group admin, you can rotate the code from the group settings screen. If you're a member trying to leave, tap your profile → group → leave.
For lost codes, the group admin can read it from the group QR card on the home screen. Codes don't expire — they stay valid for the life of the group.
Apple and Google convert prices to your local currency using their own exchange rates. In some regions (Malaysia, for example) sales tax is added on top of the base price you see in our marketing, then rounded to the nearest "nice" number for your locale.
The price shown in the Google Play or App Store checkout dialog is the final amount you'll pay. That's the authoritative price.
On Android: open the Google Play Store app → tap your avatar → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wasl → Cancel subscription.
On iPhone: open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Wasl → Cancel.
Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
The Pilgrim Pass grants full access for 30 days from the moment of purchase. After 30 days it expires automatically — no cancellation needed, no auto-renewal. If you go for another pilgrimage later, you can buy another pass at that time.
If you find someone lost during your pilgrimage, ask them for their Wasl group code (six characters). Open Wasl → Lost Pilgrim → enter the code. You'll see the group members' last-known locations on the map, and the group is notified that you're helping. Tap a member's pin to see directions.
The feature is rate-limited and requires the helper to be on a Pro plan — it's designed for trusted use, not surveillance.
Wasl uses your device's location to compute prayer times. If the location is off, the times will be off too. Check that location permission is granted to Wasl in your system settings, and that your device's timezone and clock are correct.
If you've moved to a new city and times haven't updated, force-stop Wasl and reopen it — that triggers a fresh location read.
We love hearing from pilgrims. Email support@wasl.my with the details. Screenshots help. For bugs, please include your phone model and Wasl version (you'll find it in Settings → About).
See our privacy policy for the full details. Short version: we store the minimum needed for the features you use, we don't sell data to anyone, and group location data is shared only with people in your group.
Open the app → Group tab → Create new. You'll get a six-character code to share with your group. Up to 30 members per group.
Inside the group, tap the Hotel tile, search for your accommodation, pin it. Group members can navigate back any time.
Tap Bills → snap a receipt photo. Our OCR reads the items; you assign who ordered what; we compute who owes whom in your home currency.
Place pins on the map for "Where we'll regroup after Maghrib" or similar. Members get a notification when someone arrives.
